Magickal Blue Moon Milk ✨

ree

Ingredients

  • 1 cup vanilla almond milk

  • ½ cup coconut milk (for creaminess)

  • ½ teaspoon blue spirulina powder

  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • A drizzle of honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)

  • A handful of ice

Instructions

In a small saucepan, gently warm the almond milk and coconut milk together until just steaming (don’t boil).

Whisk in the blue spirulina and cinnamon until smooth and evenly colored.

If you’d like it chilled, pour the mixture over ice and stir well — or blend with ice for a frothy, sky-blue drink.

Taste and sweeten if desired.

Serving idea

Sip under moonlight or candlelight. The spirulina gives it that ethereal hue — calm and clear as twilight.

Blue spirulina (technically phycocyanin, a pigment extracted from green spirulina) gets a lot of buzz for both its color and what it does under the surface.

A few grounded facts:

Antioxidant power: Phycocyanin helps neutralize free radicals — basically, it may ease oxidative stress in your cells.

Anti-inflammatory support: Some studies suggest it can calm inflammation markers in the body.

Mood and energy: People often notice a gentle lift in focus or mood — not a stimulant buzz, more like your cells got a fresh breath.

Detox support: It’s thought to help the liver do its cleanup work more efficiently.

Skin health: Antioxidants + amino acids can support skin elasticity and reduce dullness.

Unlike green spirulina, the blue version has no fishy or earthy taste, which makes it perfect for drinks like your moon milk.
