We do not have snow where I live yet…

BUT….we had a some frost this morning…so winter is coming! 🥶

This little ritual is best performed during fresh snowfall or while holding a small bowl of clean snow.

You’ll need:

A handful of fresh snow (or a bowlful)

A quiet moment

It’s my first real day including green witch prayer in my morning routine. I had been loosely following a mindset for a while but never applied it before. I did a morning nature prayer and centered myself to go through the day with peace and harmony in mind and I thank this coven for having me. Being part of a community gives me the desire to follow it better in my own life

Ingredients

• 1 cup vanilla almond milk

• ½ cup coconut milk (for creaminess)

• ½ teaspoon blue spirulina powder

• ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

A great spell….it’s easy and beginner friendly. 

A Samhain blessing to light the way through the dark months ahead.

You’ll need:

• 1 small pumpkin - must be carved ahead of time

• A tealight or small candle

• A slip of paper and pen

I have included 4 phrases you could say while creating this simmer pot.

One is your basic blessing, one is for protection, one for

honoring the ancestors and one for abundance.

I do not measure these ingredients. I use my intuition and I always thank the plant spirit I am working with. Always, always, always have respect and gratitude!

Purpose: Restore personal energy, shield from draining influences, and awaken inner vitality.

• A white or golden candle (for purity and energy)

• A small bowl of water (to cleanse and flow)

• A piece of clear quartz or amethyst (for energy amplification and protection)

• Optional: a feather or soft cloth (to “brush away” exhaustion)

Items you’ll need:

• 1 autumn leaf (for release & transformation)

• 1 acorn (for growth & new beginnings)

• 1 apple (for abundance & blessings)

Steps:

Set your space. Light a candle or simply sit quietly, honoring the turning of the seasons. Take three slow breaths.

This morning, I walked beneath the oak trees, and the ground was littered with acorns—small, shining treasures scattered like blessings. I bent down to pick one up, and as soon as I held it in my palm, I felt the hum of quiet power. It always amazes me that something so tiny can hold the strength and wisdom of an entire oak within it.

To me, acorns are little reminders from the Earth: you are capable of becoming more than you imagine. They are seeds of resilience, guardians of protection, and messengers of prosperity. Whenever I hold one, I think of all the beginnings I’ve been too afraid to start, and how growth never looks grand in the beginning—it looks small, humble, almost unnoticeable.
