Magickal Pen

During a full moon, stand outside under the moonlight. (you do not need to visually “see” the moon it doesn’t matter - what matters is the energy)

Have a bowl of consecrated water, some crushed rose petals, a pinch of salt, a protection incense and a pen.

Bless the water, add the rose petals and salt to the bowl. Burn the incense.

Sprinkle the pen with the water and repeat three times…

“Ink so black as the night sea, blessed be and blessed times three. By moonlight’s energy I speak these words, three times spoken, their power heard. Serve me well, serve only me, through good and bad, whatever may be. By ink and moon, by night and light, so mote it be and be done right!

Now you have a magickal pen to use in your practice.

Self Confidence Spell

Channel Your Inner Light 🔥

Sometimes we lose sight of our own light. We forget that we are powerful and capable human beings. We question ourselves, mumble instead of speaking up, or let fear rule our decisions.

This spell is designed to remind you that confidence isn’t something you have to search for… it’s something you already ARE. All you have to do is turn it on.💖😉

YOU WILL NEED

One yellow or gold candle

Confidence-blend oil (or any carrier oil with one or more of the following added):

Cleansing and Inviting

Many people were taught that white sage equals cleansing, (I am guilty of this thought process as well and have since changed my practice behind this ) but historically this is more nuanced.

White Sage

Traditionally used by several Indigenous Nations in North America (though practices vary greatly by Nation), white sage has been used in sacred ceremonies for purification, prayer, and spiritual preparation. Because of its cultural significance and concerns about overharvesting, many practitioners who aren’t part of those traditions choose other herbs instead.

Some modern practitioners describe white sage as creating a kind of “blank slate” by clearing away unwanted energy, but that interpretation isn’t universal.

I actually grown my own white sage, and have used it many times in my practice, but I have a new way of thinking on this use…as I no longer believe it’s the best choice in cleansing.

While I do have Native American roots, I still only use White Sage in very VERY important rituals and cleansings. However, I have gotten to where I even rarely use it now because I've been trying to find more herbs, etc that are native to where I live. That would most definitely be cedar or rosemary! We all have cedar allergies so I try not to buyn it (just essential oil only use) but we love rosemary! I agree, I don't think the plants themselves should be closed off for the same reasons you state.

Keys - The Literal and Spiritual Door Openers

In witchcraft keys are literally and spiritually used to “unlock” hidden knowledge, open doors, and safeguard sacred spaces.

In many traditions, keys symbolize:

  • manifestation

  • spiritual awakening

  • opening locked doors in your life - road openers

  • and finally stepping into your purpose

🌩️ Storm Water Cleansing Spell

A ritual for washing away emotional residue, heaviness, and lingering energetic imprints.

🌧️ Why would you do this spell?

This spell is for moments when you feel emotionally chaotic—like things have soaked into you that don’t belong to you anymore. It uses storm water as a symbol of release, renewal, and emotional reset.

🍃Here is what you will need

Rainwater collected during a storm – this could also be snow storm water - just collect it and let it melt.

A bowl, cup, or vessel to hold the water
