🌙 Healing the Mother Wound Spell
**What the Mother Wound Is**
The mother wound refers to the emotional, psychological, or spiritual pain carried from our relationship with our mother or maternal figures — whether from neglect, criticism, overprotection, or absence. It can also be ancestral, passed through the feminine lineage. This wound often affects self-worth, boundaries, and the ability to feel nurtured and safe.
**🌿 You Will Need:**
* 1 pink candle (for self-love)
* 1 white candle (for purity and spiritual healing)
* A small bowl of rose petals (fresh or dried)
* A piece of rose quartz (heart healing)
* A small mirror
* A journal or paper + pen
* Optional: soft instrumental music or drumming to create a nurturing atmosphere
**✨ Spell Steps:**
**Prepare Your Space**
Cleanse the area with incense, palo santo, or sound. Create a circle of rose petals in front of you, placing the pink candle to the left, the white candle to the right, and the mirror in the center with the rose quartz on top of it.
**Light the Candles**
As you light the pink candle, say: “I welcome the healing of my heart, the return of my softness, the embrace of my own love.”
As you light the white candle, say: “I call upon light to cleanse, soothe, and restore the places within me that have been hurt.”
**Mirror Connection**
Hold the mirror and gaze softly into your own eyes. Imagine speaking to your younger self — the version of you who needed more love, safety, or validation. Whisper words they needed to hear: “You are loved. You are safe. You are enough.”
**Rose Quartz Healing**
Place the rose quartz over your heart. Close your eyes and visualize a warm pink light flowing from the stone into your chest, filling all cracks and empty spaces with gentle, unconditional love.
**Release & Forgive**
Write down any feelings of pain, resentment, or grief tied to your mother wound. If ready, write words of forgiveness — for your mother, for the lineage, and for yourself. Burn the paper in a fireproof dish, imagining the smoke carrying away the heaviness.
**Closing**
With hands over your heart, say: “I am my own loving mother. I nurture, protect, and cherish myself. This wound becomes wisdom. From wound to wisdom; I am held, I am love. So it is.”
Let the candles burn safely until you feel the energy has shifted, then snuff them out. Keep the rose quartz near your bed for continued healing.
**Motherline Mending — Short Chant**
*Pink flame rise, white light clear;*
*Call my heart back, hold it near.*
*Little me, come home*
*You are safe, you’re not alone.*
*From wound to wisdom, shame released;*
*I am my mother’s love and peace.*
*By rose and moon and breath above
I am held, I am healed, I am love.
