Identifying signs that it's time to break free from a bad relationship

Break Free - Darling Hill Music

Are you feeling like you're stuck in a rut in your relationship? Are there more bad days than good days? Do you find yourself constantly making excuses for your partner's behavior or feeling like you have to walk on eggshells around them? These are all signs that it may be time to break free from a bad and/or toxic relationship.

If you're feeling drained, unhappy, or unfulfilled in your relationship, it's important to take a step back and reflect on why that might be. Are you constantly fighting with your partner, unable to communicate effectively, or feeling like your needs are not being met? These are all red flags that indicate it may be time to let go.

Another sign that it's time to break free from a bad relationship is if you feel like you're losing yourself in the process. Are you constantly changing who you are to fit your partner's expectations or sacrificing your own happiness for the sake of the relationship? It's important to remember that a healthy relationship should allow you to grow and thrive as an individual, not diminish your sense of self-worth.

Pay attention to how your partner makes you feel. Do they lift you up and support you, or do they constantly criticize and belittle you? Your partner should be your biggest cheerleader, not someone who tears you down. If you find yourself feeling more insecure or unhappy with yourself because of your partner's words or actions, it may be time to break free and find someone who truly values and respects you.

Trust your instincts. If something doesn't feel right in your relationship, it's important to listen to that inner voice telling you that something needs to change. You know yourself and your needs better than anyone else, so don't ignore those gut feelings telling you that it's time to move on.

Lastly, take a look at the overall dynamic of your relationship. Are there more negative moments than positive ones? Are you constantly feeling unfulfilled or unsatisfied with how your partner treats you? A healthy relationship should be built on mutual respect, trust, and love – if those things are missing, it may be time to say goodbye.

Breaking free from a bad relationship can be scary and overwhelming, but it's important to remember that you deserve to be happy and fulfilled in your relationships. Trust yourself and your instincts, and don't be afraid to let go of something that no longer serves you. Remember, you have the power to create the life and love you truly desire.

Creating a ritual or spell for closure and moving on

Breaking up is never easy, but sometimes it’s necessary for your own growth and happiness. If you’re looking for a little extra closure and strength to move on from a bad relationship, incorporating a ritual or spell into your healing process can be empowering and cathartic.

One idea for creating a ritual for closure is to gather items that hold significance to you in relation to the relationship. This could include letters, photos, gifts, or any other mementos that remind you of the past.

Take some time to sit with these items and reflect on the lessons you’ve learned, the growth you’ve experienced, and the strength you’ve gained from the relationship.

Once you feel ready, you can choose to either burn these items as a symbolic gesture of releasing the past or bury them in the earth to signify rebirth and new beginnings.

(although I personally do not recommend the burying option as I don't like to harm the little critters outside with my 'junk')

As you do this, you can say a simple mantra or affirmation such as “I release you with love and gratitude” to help solidify your intention.

If you’re drawn to working with crystals, you can incorporate them into your closure ritual as well.

Black obsidian is often used for protection and grounding, making it a powerful stone to help you release old patterns and emotions. You can hold the crystal in your hands or place it on your heart chakra as you meditate on letting go of the past and welcoming in new energy.

Another crystal that can be helpful during this time is rose quartz, known for its healing properties and ability to bring in love and compassion. You can use rose quartz to open your heart to forgiveness and self-love as you navigate the healing process of moving on from a bad relationship.

If you’re looking to create a spell for closure and moving on, consider writing a letter to your ex-partner expressing your feelings and intentions.

You can then burn the letter as a way to release those emotions and create space for new opportunities and experiences to come into your life.

As you perform this spell, you can also incorporate herbs such as rosemary for purification and clarity, lavender for peace and healing, or sage for cleansing and protection.

You can create a bundle of these herbs and burn them as you recite your intentions for closure and moving on.

Remember, the most important aspect of creating a ritual or spell for closure and moving on is to set your intentions clearly and to do so with a sense of mindfulness and respect.

Trust in the process of healing and know that you are strong enough to move forward and create the life you deserve.

By incorporating these practices into your healing journey, you can find closure, release the past, and step into a brighter future filled with love, peace, and fulfillment.

Embrace the magick within you and trust that you have the power to create the life you desire.

Remember to stay true to yourself, trust your intuition, and surround yourself with positive energy as you embark on this new chapter in your life. Good luck, and may the universe guide you towards happiness and fulfillment.

Goodbye bad relationship, hello new beginnings!

Until next time... Live, Love, & Magick!
