During the pandemic she also attended Restorative Training with Judith Hansen Lasiter. She has also completed two of Josh Summers Josh Summers 50-hour Yin Teacher Trainings. Sheila began her yoga journey in 2005 in Power Yoga to enjoy its physical benefits and replace her 10-year practice of karate.

She found that the emotional and spiritual benefits are huge as yoga postures and meditations have brought much comfort, peace and balance through career, physical and emotional challenges. Vinyasa Flow, Restorative and Yin with their physical, emotional and meditative benefits have no successfully replaced her power yoga practice. Retired from high tech and returning to her teaching roots as she was a high school math teacher and recreational ski instructor.
